Purpose

To initiate, enhance or expand grant projects that establish comprehensive Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs). CACs are child-focused, community-oriented programs that coordinate investigation and intervention services for abused children by bringing together professionals and agencies in a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary model. Criteria for CACs can be found at K.S.A. 38-2227 and amendments thereto and the National Children’s Alliance Accreditation Standards at the National Children's Alliance website.
